Amanda Serrano, a Puerto Rican professional boxer, mixed martial artist, and professional wrestler, was born in Carolina, Puerto Rico, on October 9, 1988. Serrano is the unified featherweight world champion in boxing.

She has held the WBO title since February 2021, in addition to the WBC title, and the IBO title since March 2021. Serrano holds the distinction of being the only female and Puerto Rican to win world titles in multiple weight classes.

She holds the Guinness World Record for the most world titles won by a female boxer in various weight classes. In addition, she has won nine major world titles in seven different weight classes.

Cindy is her older sister, who is also a professional boxer. After Cindy won the WBO featherweight belt in 2016, the sisters became the first sisters to win world titles from major sanctioning bodies at the same time.

Serrano, on the other hand, is a Bushwick High School alumnus from Brooklyn.
